Sierra Swing, PsyD - Owner
Dr. Swing is a licensed clinical and forensic psychologist. She provides psychotherapy for individuals and couples throughout the lifespan, as well as offers a breadth of experience in forensic, neuropsychological, parenting, and general psychological evaluations. She has extensive experience working with the consequences of adverse childhood experiences and trauma, as well as seeing clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, relationship problems, adjustment and life transitions, addictive behaviors, stress, chronic pain, health issues, dissociative disorders, and grief and loss. She offers an integrated and collaborative therapeutic approach pulling from multiple therapeutic modalities and empirically supported treatments. She also utilizes her Therapy Dog, Boomer, as a co-therapist in her practice.

Samuel Collier, PsyD - Associate
Samuel joined Sound Psychotherapy & Assessment after completing his doctoral internship and postdoctoral residency training at a local community health clinic working with an incredibly diverse and underserved population. He specializes in the treatment of mental health and adjustment related issues resulting from trauma, adversity, relationship problems, depression, anxiety, difficult life transitions, and career difficulties/transitions. Samuel brings positive energy, sense of humor, and a collaborative style into the therapeutic relationship and has an incredible ability to help uncover and highlight greatness in the clients he works with. He strives to be compassionate, non-judgmental, and empowering and looks forward to working with you!

Alexa Hutzenbiler, MA - Supervised Associate, Lead Psychometrist
Alexa is a 4th year doctoral student at Antioch University and has been the lead psychometrist and clinical administrative assistant at Sound Psychotherapy & Assessment for the past two years. She recently received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology (MA) from Antioch University Seattle, and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) working towards her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. Alexa has worked with children and adults with a wide range of mental health concerns including trauma, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, autism, substance use issues, adjustment and life transitions, bipolar and other mood problems, as well as people who have concerns about perceptual disturbances, such as hearing or seeing things that others do no. She strives to be both culturally informed and humble, knowing that the client is the expert on their experience. She works to remain aware of her personal biases and privilege, is dedicated to providing a safe, empathic, and inclusive space for her clients.
